Pewter bauble with gold leaves
Made in the Ukraine. We only buy from the oldest existing glass bauble factories in the Ukraine and Poland, in support of their current conflict.
A beautiful 10cm bauble, hand-decorated with a gold leaf design to the top half of the ball. Soft/ brushed silver/grey/pewter colour. Gold detail.
Although glass, these are not so thin that they shatter easily when dropped (they don’t usually), yet they are light enough to hang well even on smaller tree branches. This is a sign of the skill of making which comes through decades of perfecting this balance to create a perfect tree decoration. Many newer glass decorations from India for example, are simply too heavy!
Sold individually or in a box if you select a quantity of 6.
We carefully wrap these individually for posting.
